Wisdom hath builded her House of Seven Pillars, the House of God, the Temple of the Seven Spirits before his throne, from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness.
These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness.
“To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.”
(John 18:37)
Christ has already witnessed every spirit, and discerned every depth, even the depth of every heart. As this Revelation comes progressively to his servants first, and then to the world, they are fit into that Temple of His Mind as a stone. All the Scripture is fulfilled in the Son, first in word, then in Spirit (mind), then in truth.
The Heavenly Jerusalem is a Temple of the Mind in which the saved live already, in Spirit, by the Wisdom of Christ. We have the mind of Christ, being of his Body.
The Image of the Beast is that Counterfeit Temple of the Woman, Mystery Babylon, Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth. This is “the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.”
This is a temple that mankind thinks he builds by his own hand, where the image of a man takes his seat, declaring himself to be God.
“And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her…
Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.”(Revelation 18:9-10)
